Dunwoodie House

The client purchased this home to serve the later years of her life after her husband passed away. 

The house had been built in the 90’s and was a completely beige colour, inside and out.

Insider developed an interior/ exterior colour scheme to suit her needs for a calm, light and harmonious space, which had definite curb appeal.

The kitchen and bathroom were designed with the future needs of the client in mind, taking into consideration disabled access. We added extra lighting options that gave the client flexibility for a range of tasks and to create an inviting atmosphere.

We used textures and patterns to add interest to the neutral palette and wood grains in the flooring and kitchen cabinetry to add warmth.

The result was a flowing, warm and comforting home.
