Anna’s House

Anna’s house was the purchase of a 1970’s mainly original Brick home for a person moving to Thames from Auckland.

The brief from the client was light and airy, modern and functional-on a budget.

Insider created the new interior with clean neutral white walls and ceilings throughout, adding the clients’ love of blue in various applications.

We created a sympathetic nod to the era of the home by complimenting the bronze joinery with honey brown floor tiles in the bathroom and toilet, Surround panels to mimic the previous kitchen peninsula and adding black hardware to keep in with the existing joinery catches and handles.

The result has created a better flow thoughout the home and added some modern improvements for comfort. The clients’ personality shone through with the use of colour and the overall feel is light and open.
